The Philadelphia Wine Company is the first and only licensed limited winery founded in the city of Philadelphia. We make only premium dry and sweet wines. Our wines have won awards in regional and international wine competitions. Wines are priced from $9 and below per 750ml bottle.

The Philadelphia Wine Company was founded in 1996. The winery is located at 3061 Miller Street in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. The wines are made from grapes grown in the Lehigh Valley, Bucks County, Lake Erie Regions in Pennsylvania and the Finger Lakes Region in New York.

There are many different wine varietals at Philadelphia Wine Company. The red wine grapes include Cabernet Sauvignon, Foch (Pinot Noir cross), Landot, DeChaunac, Chambourcin and Chancellor. The white wine grapes include Chardonnay, Vidal (Trebbiano cross), Pinot Gris and Seyval.

The winery is small and is able to produce between 2,000 to 3,500 gallons of wine each year. This makes us the smallest winery in the state and possibly the tiniest in the country. The wines are crafted by owner - wine maker Tom Kelly.

Current labels include the Port Richmond, Bridesburg, Fishtown, Boathouse Row, South Philadelphia, Art Museum Areas, Mayfair, Northern Liberties, Juniata, Rhawnhurst and Wissahickon Valley. In the near future, labels will include Fox Chase, Rittenhouse, Roxborough, East Falls, Manayunk, Andorra, Parkwood Manor, Queen Village, Greys Ferry, Germantown and Frankford.
